Before diving into the steps to become a content creator, it’s important to establish the role of content creators in the social media industry and the different types of creators - there’s room for everyone!

The steps to getting started are very easy and straight forward: start shooting content and then post it! The hard part is actually posting the content, which we will discuss in this lesson!

Navigating paid partnerships can be difficult at first; however once you establish your rates and know your worth and value as a creator the possibilities and partnerships are limitless! In this lesson, I will share my tips on establishing your rates as a creator and how to get paid them!

Usage is the duration and extent to which a brand can use your content with agreed upon terms from both parties. Usage plays a major role in the final compensation of an offer. As a content creator being aware of usage and how to charge brands for it can increase your paycheck and knowledge as a creator!

Monetization means turning something into money. In this case it’s your content! Most social media platforms have their own programs and forms of monetization. In this lesson I will share some of the platforms monetization features and how you can utilize them to your advantage!

In this lesson, I will discussing affiliate marketing and how to utilize links to your advantage! Affiliate marketing is when a creator earns money from custom links and/or discount codes they share!

As a content creator managing your business is a vital part of the job. You will sign influencer agreements, have meetings to review brand creative briefs, sign non-disclosure agreements, have constant communication with brands and more. Creating content is only half of the job; hence maintaining professionalism and managing your business is a essential to your success as a creator in the industry!
